Asia's most established cruise event
The 3rd Seatrade All Asia Cruise Convention has now come to a close, following a three day conference, two day showcase exhibition and travel agent training programme, each focussing on Asia's ongoing development within the cruise industry.
The conference sessions saw over 40 key industry experts discuss nine of the most prominent topics within the industry, including The State of the Cruise Industry in Asia, Itineraries and Destinations, Operational Challenges, Asia as a Source Market, Shipbuilding and Repair and many more. Panelists discussed the great opportunities within Asia for the entire cruise industry. In 2011 more than 20m people cruise worldwide and with Asia representing less than 10% of this figure there is great potential to develop.
In the showcase exhibition, both international and Asian brands from all sectors were represented from cruise lines, cruise ports, destinations, shipbuilders and many more. In total over 40 companies exhibited at the event, showing how important the Asian cruise market is worldwide.
The event was held at the iconic Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal, 26-28 September 2012. We would like to thank all our speakers exhibitors and delegates and hope to welcome you back to the show in 2013, dates to be announced soon.
Seatrade has been publishing and organising events for the industry across Asia, including Japan, Singapore and China since 1991 - nobody knows Asia's cruise market better.
